BICM CONFERENCE DEEMED SUCCESS

Club managers assembled at Hollins Hall Hotel & Country Club, Shipley, Yorkshire, on Sunday 7 October for BICM's inaugural Conference on Club Management sponsored by business partner Route.
Guest of honour at Sunday's Gala Dinner was Sport England chairman Derek Mapp, while former England, Yorkshire and Somerset cricketer, Brian Close, was the guest speaker.
The informal start to proceedings heralded two days of prsentations from industry speakers on contemporary topics in club life. Subjects included Responsible Alchohol Retailing, The Club Market, Health and Safety Online, Loss Adjustment
Services and a legal update on the Gaming Act from club law specialist Peter Coulson.
Attendees also had the opportunity to achieve Bill Accreditation.
